Software development is a unique activity for human beings. It’s well played, popular and prestigious. This area draws attention for rationalizations aimed in increasing of performance of developer as well increasing their satisfaction of work.
There are some stereotypes, and pre-judgments in our society that play roles of obstacles to socialization and adaptation of programmers.
This research aimed to enumerate the stereotypes in society about software developers, and consider psychological aspects of self-imaging of programmers and their work. We also aimed to study specialization, length of service and satisfaction of programmers with their work.
